I recently bought this cream blush from MUA, in a slight
moment of wildness in Boots, and thought I’d do a quick review :)
I’ve never tried a cream blush before, but I remember
reading somewhere that if you use liquid foundation,
cream blushes will work best while powder blushes should be used for powder bases... so I thought I'd give it a whirl.
It looks pretty bright and vibrant in the pan (more-so than
these photos show!) but doesn’t come out as harsh on the skin. I think it
gives a really nice, subtle flush of colour, the sort of rosy glow you get after a long
walk on a cold frosty morning.
| Please excuse the minimal makeup/grumpy face/messy room in the background...I'm still new to all this!x |
For the price, this blush is fab. It lasts all day and
didn’t need touching up. I'm still slightly unsure about the colour on me – I think I
will go back and buy one that’s a bit more peachy/orangey as I tend to stick to those shades for blushes.
What do you think? Have you tried this blush?
MUA blushers are available from Superdrug, or from their website here.
By the way... Sorry the background is so cluttered, I'm in my room at my Uni house and still trying to find a decent spot to take photos. I was just sat in front of my window here, much to the amusement of everyone walking past in the street who could see me posing for the camera haha!
Sorry I look so grumpy, I'm really not very photogenic and get a little bit awkward in front of the camera.. I feel a bit nervous publishing a post on the internet with such close up shots of my face! Hopefully I'll get more used to standing in front of the camera lens and be a bit more confident with it soon.
Speak soon!

DeleteI've never tried cream blush, I always get so scared of them and stick to powder. And don't be anxious about close up shots, you have such radiant skin (jealous!) and you are beautiful :)
